Do Dubai residents pay taxes?

The UAE is used to being considered a place without taxes. The reason for this is the almost complete absence of taxes for individuals on income, and minimal tax burden for businesses and entrepreneurs. Perhaps the only tax that can be mentioned is VAT at the rate of 5%, which, however, still does not apply to tourist purchases.

As for corporate tax, it is 9%. However, even this small tax by world standards can be reduced to zero if a number of conditions and regulations are met.
