Kazakhstan has taken an important step in attracting foreign capital by approving an investor visa program similar to global practices. According to the new rules developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, foreigners who have invested $300,000 or more in the country's economy will be able to obtain a long-term residence permit.
The new initiative is aimed at diversifying the economy and attracting foreign direct investment in non-resource sectors. Experts estimate that the program could bring up to $1 billion to the budget in the next 5 years.
“This step will strengthen Kazakhstan's competitive position in the international arena and create additional incentives for business”, - noted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
