An international risk assessment company, International SOS, has published its risk map for the next year - Risk Map 2024.
According to its data, the most dangerous and safest countries in the world in 2024 have been named. Switzerland entered the category of one of the safest countries to live in 2024.
International SOS assessed the level of safety protection, health threats and climate risks.
The safest countries in this category are Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Greenland, Switzerland and Slovenia. The level of danger in Russia is rated as "average".
From the point of view of the situation in the country as a whole, Ukraine, Libya and South Sudan turned out to be the most dangerous — there the threat level is "extreme". They are followed by countries such as Venezuela, Burma and Pakistan with a "high" level of danger, according to International SOS.
As for medical threats, Libya, Sudan, as well as Afghanistan and North Korea are the most dangerous countries. The authors of the research classified the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and Singapore as safe countries for health.
